We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new partnership with Rugby Super League club, Toronto Wolfpack.
The Canadian side won promotion to the England-based Super League Season, becoming the first ever North American team to compete in the division.
For the 2020 Super League season, Treated.com, part of Webcare Group, will feature as a shirt sponsor for the Toronto Wolfpack.
Webcare Group Director of Operations, Clément Andreau, shared his thoughts on the partnership:
“We're thrilled to be official kit sponsors for Toronto Wolfpack RLFC in 2020. The club is truly a pioneering force in Rugby, both domestically and internationally, and we're incredibly excited about the opportunities and exposure this partnership will generate for the Treated.com brand. We look forward to seeing the Wolfpack compete in the Super League with eager anticipation.”
Toronto Wolfpack’s UK General Manager Martin Vickers commented:
“As owners of a health and wellness company, HowlBrands, we understand that for many people it can be extremely difficult to access the vital healthcare they require.”
“Treated.com’s pioneering process improves the everyday lives of their customers and we are delighted to announce this partnership for 2020. We look forward to developing this partnership through the season, including the potential opportunities to work with some of HowlBrands growing portfolio of health and wellness products.”
Alongside the shirt sponsorship, Treated.com and the Toronto Wolfpack are entering into a working collaboration. As part of this, Treated.com will be creating in-depth, data led content pieces using the rugby side’s analysis across the duration of the season.
For the last five years, the Treated.com team has earned a reputation within the digital healthcare industry for producing insightful studies and research-based articles, to help highlight how certain lifestyle factors can impact on our overall health. This new relationship will enable the team to further expand their activities in this area, and create helpful and engaging content for users.
To complement these data-focused pieces, Treated.com will be producing video content to take a deeper look into the health and fitness of the Wolfpack’s players. With the team being the first North American side to play in the Super League, this will lead to interesting, exclusive content throughout the season.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce the latest part of our offering, Treated Live. This revolutionary new service will enable patients to speak to a doctor or pharmacy prescriber directly via video chat. Patients will be able to seek guidance and information regarding a medical issue, and get recommendations where appropriate.
Because patients can book their own appointment slot, the service is ideal for patients who are between GP surgeries, or who are busy and struggling to get a GP appointment at a time that suits them.
The Treated Live service is launching in the UK and EU today (January 22nd 2020), and will soon be launching to the rest of the world.
“We’re delighted to launch this latest addition to our comprehensive care offering.” commented Dr Daniel Atkinson, Treated.com Clinical Director.
“Our goal is to provide patients with safe, effective and convenient medical advice, that you can access from the comfort of your computer or smartphone.”
To mark the launch of this project, the Wolfpack, Treated.com and Rugby AM teamed up to produce a promotional video, featuring Sonny Bill Williams, Jon Wilkin, Blake Wallace and more.
