Product information

Nipatra is a treatment for erectile dysfunction which, unlike other pills, can be chewed prior to being swallowed. The functioning constituent in this tablet is a drug called sildenafil, which is also used in the popular ED product known as Viagra. As it contains the same agent, Nipatra, which is manufactured by Mercury Pharma, works in much the same way.

  1. Easy to swallow, chewable pill
  2. Gets to work in 30-60 minutes
  3. Different doses available

Erectile dysfunction, which is also referred to as impotence, is characterised by the inability to acquire and maintain an erection durable enough for penetrative sex. It is a phenomenon which occurs to most men at some point in their lives, however infrequently; but ED is said to be present when erectile problems are encountered on a persistent basis. It occurs when the flow of blood to the penis is inhibited. For an erection to happen, blood needs to be able to enter the penis, and stay there. In erectile dysfunction, the flow is interrupted, which leads to the issues described above.

Causes tend to vary. It tends to affect men more as they get older, due to restricted blood flow, but it often occurs in younger men too. In some cases, alcohol consumption can be a contributing factor, as can the use of recreational drugs. Poor dietary habits are also a potential cause.

But sometimes, impotence can just be down to plain feelings of nervousness, or stress. Those people who have entered into a new relationship may be under pressure to impress their partner and perform, and this can lead to symptoms. Similarly, those who are encountering stress in another area of their life, such as at work, may find themselves distracted, and also affected by erectile problems.

The condition can lead to feelings of distress, not only for the person experiencing it, but also for their partner too. Seeking treatment in those instances where erectile dysfunction persists is therefore important.

Nipatra contains sildenafil, which is a PDE5 inhibitor. PDE5 is a natural enzyme, but its activity can result in the constriction of blood vessels. By blocking the function of this enzyme, sildenafil enables blood vessels found at the base of the penis to widen, and facilitates blood flow in this region. It also encourages those letting blood out of the penis to close; so that blood remains in the penis and an erection lasts longer.
