Eczema is a skin condition which causes various symptoms, such as itchiness, irritation, redness and cracks in the skin. It typically affects the hands, elbows, and behind the knees, but it can also occur on the head and face too. The condition tends to be chronic, flaring up and going into remission over long periods.
The exact cause of eczema is not known, however, associations between eczema and allergic conditions such as hay fever and asthma have been observed. Certain environmental factors, such as allergens and irritants in soaps and shampoos, can trigger eczema. It can also occur when hormonal changes place in the body, such as during pregnancy or menstruation.
How a doctor decides to treat the condition will largely depend on the severity of symptoms, and whether or not there are any signs of infection present. For mild to moderate cases where there are signs of infection, they may choose to issue a combination medication such as Fucidin H in order to alleviate the symptoms and clear up any residual bacteria.
The functioning constituents of Fucidin H are fusidic acid and hydrocortisone. Fusidic acid works by inhibiting a bacteria’s capacity for growth, by stopping it from producing self-sustaining proteins. In reducing the release of inflammatory chemicals, hydrocortisone relieves the irritation associated with eczema.
We only provide treatments for skin conditions to patients who have used them before. If you are experiencing eczema symptoms which have not been seen by a doctor, you will need to make an appointment in person with your GP. They will issue prescription treatment where required.
To buy Fucidin H online, take a couple of minutes to complete our medical questionnaire, and one of our doctors will assess your answers. Following approval, a prescription will be generated for you and sent electronically to our dispensing pharmacy. Courier services are used to deliver all orders, so that you don’t have to worry about your medication getting lost in the post.Buy now
